Don't expect married life to dim Beth Dutton's spirit.

Kelly Reilly, who plays Beth in Yellowstone, took a break from filming season five of the sweeping family drama to attend Paramount's upfronts in New York City earlier this month. Speaking with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet, the actress opened up about what the show's next installment has in store for her character.

Fans of the hit series will recall that season four ended with Beth finally tying the knot with her longtime love, Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser). But according to Reilly, holy matrimony doesn't spell a simpler life for the family firebrand.

"Just when I think Beth might be trying to mellow down a little bit—she's a married woman—that's not happening," she told the publication. "I mean, the married woman part's happening but the calming down. So, it's just, the fierceness is legitimately ramping up."

Reilly also shed some light on her character's views on marriage.

"In a strange way, I think Beth is quite old-fashioned in her values," she told Entertainment Tonight. "I think the fact that this man is now her husband, it holds a lot of power. But he's always been her guy since she was 16 years old. He's the only man—other than her father—that she's ever loved. So, the fact that it's official in God's eyes, it's something I think she's incredibly proud of and it probably gives her a little more stability."

We can't wait to see what's next for our favorite Montana family!

Yellowstone season five is set to premiere on Paramount Network on November 13.
