Kelly Clarkson's husband Brandon Blackstock certainly knows how to show affection.

On Saturday, the 36-year-old singer wrapped up her Meaning of Life tour in Greenville, South Carolina-but not without a major surprise appearance by the father of their four kids.

Blackstock-the son of Narvel Blackstock, Reba McEntire's ex-husband, and Clarkson's former manager-walked out on stage with a guitar in his hands as Clarkson performed
her 2015 single "Piece by Piece." As you'll see in the clip below, Clarkson at first didn't realize he was behind her until she turned laughed, took a minute to compose herself, then turned to the audience and said, "This is my husband...I can do this, I can do this!"

"My husband just totally surprised me playing a faux guitar on 'Piece by Piece' and I lost my mind in the tent back there. It's totally fine," she told the audience. "This has been the most amazing tour that I've ever been a part of, getting to tour a record I’ve wanted to make since I was a little kid. And just being so phenomenally blessed. I come from nothing. I always get like this, I cry all the time.”

This of course isn't the first big surprised audiences have had during the Meaning of Life tour. Just days before her Greenville stop, Clarkson introduced her friend and former mother-in-law Reba McEntire on stage in Nashville, Tennessee.

"I have a feeling some people know who's coming. I asked this person because this person has been such an influence, not just musically but personally. It's a really rare thing to meet your hero and they live up to it," she said. "I think everybody knows what's about to happen. I'm very excited. We put this together because I am a true fan, so I'm making this person sing way more songs than they probably thought they were gonna have to."

The duo performed Clarkson's "Because of You" and McEntire's "Can't Even Get the Blues," "Fancy," "Is there Life Out There," and her latest single, "Freedom."

After ending their performance, Clarkson thanked McEntire for joining her on stage.

"First of all, you're welcome!" Clarkson said to the audience. "I got her to agree to come, and I didn't tell her how many songs I was going to make her sing. She was like, 'I don't have to sing that many songs,' and I was like, 'Yes, you do. People in Nashville, Tennessee are going to be real pissed off if you show up and sing one song."

McEntire happily replied, "Thanks so much for letting me sing. I really appreciate it."

If you're hoping for another Clarkson and McEntire reunion, it's coming soon. McEntire's set to host the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday, April 7, where she and Clarkson are set to perform. You bet we'll tune into this one live.
