Kelly Clarkson Wore the Boldest V-Neck Dress and ‘Voice’ Fans Say She “Dropped the Mic”

Watch out, Kelly Clarkson fans. If there's anything she does as well as singing or being the face of a daytime television show, it's her bold taste for couture in front of the camera.

While she continues to show off her flair for fashion on recent episodes of The Voice, she also left fans speechless during a season 19 episode in December 2020. Just one week away from the season finale, Kelly donned a bold Gemy Maalouf gown, with the color matching the iconic red chair she sits on during the competition series. What made the outfit stand out was not just the leaves stitched into the material throughout but the bodice of the dress also featured a semi-plunging V-neckline, with similar leaf detailing at the seams.

Another stunning component were the tulle sleeves that softened the off-the-shoulder look. With a piece as daring as the woman wearing it, The Kelly Clarkson Show host made sure the red hue continued to be a theme.

While The Voice fans couldn't see the shoes she wore, Kelly gave her look a rocker feel by wearing multiple rings with the ensemble. She styled her blonde hair to be pin straight, while wearing contrasting black eyeshadow and rosy cheeks. She completed the outfit by matching the dress with bright red lipstick.

When the Chemistry musician later posted highlights of a pre-show photoshoot on Instagram, folks couldn't get enough of it. What's more, they told her so in the comments section.

One thing is for sure: Kelly makes an entrance, even when she's not trying. What's more, given her position as a coach on The Voice season 23, it won't be long before we get to see her taste for clothing peek through during the live shows.
