Kelly Clarkson Wears a Stunning Summer Dress As She Shocks Fan with an Unforgettable Duet

It's been a quiet summer for Kelly Clarkson, and we're so excited to see the singer and talk show host is back!
Kelly has resumed filming her daytime talk show, and she made an appearance on the Today show this week to sit down with Hoda Kotb and Carson Daly. The "Miss Independent" singer explained that she spent the summer in Montana with her kids, River Rose and Remington Alexander. She said, "It's obviously been a rough couple of years so it was really important to me to shut down for a minute."
This year Kelly's ex-husband Brandon Blackstock was in Montana as well, so her children were able to spend time with both of their parents. She explained, "The kids were with me and with their dad. It was nice because they usually have to travel a lot because of our separation, so we were both in Montana. I felt like the first time my kids felt a little more centered as well."
During her appearance, Kelly was able to make a special connection with a fan. The Kelly Clarkson Show is conducting a Kellyoke Contest. Fans will perform for the chance to sing a virtual duet of "Since U Been Gone" with Kelly, and some of the favorite performances may appear on an episode of the daytime talk show. One singer was performing outside the Today show when Kelly surprised her.
Kelly, wearing a summery pink belted dress, black tights, and sky-high black booties, snuck up on Jade Brathwaite as she was belting out Kelly's hit song. Kelly was clearly impressed, and even said that she was going to steal Jade's run. Jade jumped up and down and screamed when she saw Kelly.
Today shared the video on their Instagram feed, and Jade wrote, "Thank you again for this awesome moment! I will never forget this!!! ❤️❤️❤️"
