Kelly Clarkson is kicking off her Las Vegas residency by issuing a warning to fans who plan to see her in concert.

Amid the growing trend of people tossing things at performers on stage, the "Stronger" songstress made it known that there's only one thing she'll accept being pelted toward her during her performances: expensive jewels.

"Whatever you do, don't throw it at me, people. If you're gonna throw s--t, throw diamonds," she jokingly declared during her first show at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino's Bakkt Theater over the weekend.

The 41-year-old was not-so-subtly referring to the recent string of events that have become a concerning situation among musical performers.

Over the past several weeks, Kelsea Ballerini halted her show after being hit by a bracelet and Bebe Rexha was injured in the face by a phone thrown directly at her head, followed by Ava Max, who was slapped by someone while performing, with the offender reportedly scratching her eye. Meanwhile, Pink recently had a fan's deceased mother's ashes tossed onto the stage mid-concert, and Harry Styles was hit in the eye with an unidentified flying object.

Just yesterday, a fan threw a beverage at Cardi B while on stage, and she retaliated by hitting an audience member back with her microphone. If you ask us, all of it is just seriously dangerous territory.

After addressing the crowd with the lighthearted disclaimer, though, Clarkson delivered an entertaining show, inclusive of songs off her new breakup album, Chemistry, as well as some riveting covers.

Following her noteworthy rendition of Gayle's "ABCDEFU" during a Kellyoke session on The Kelly Clarkson Show in March—which included a distinctive lyric change tweaked to fit her own relationship status—the star covered the tune yet again.

In a video shared on TikTok, the talk show host can be heard singing, "F--k you and your dad and the fact that you got half, and my broken heart, turn that s--t into art. F--k you, and your view from the valley I bought you, everybody but your dogs, you can all f--k off!"

After ending the altered son with a smile, she was met with roaring cheers from the audience.

The "I Hate Love" artist has opened up about her painful divorce from ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, over the past few months, noting that much of the inspiration for her latest project came from the heartache suffered as a result of the failed relationship.
