Kelly Clarkson is giving credit where credit is due.

On Friday, the singer gave thanks to her estranged husband, Brandon Blackstock, after she won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host for her first season of The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Kelly took to Twitter to celebrate her happy news and to thank her entire crew.

"OH MY GOSH!!!!!! What is happening?!!!! This is amazing!!! Thank y’all so much!!! And a MAJOR thank you to my entire crew that really is the reason I won!!!" Kelly tweeted. "I can’t wait to celebrate with our whole crew when humans can congregate again!! This calls for a PARTY!!!!"

But in a follow-up tweet, she singled out Brandon, who is an executive producer on the show.

"Thank you so much to @BBlackstock for believing in me & convincing me to do @KellyClarksonTV show and @lifeofT for being the greatest friend/assistant #BestEmilyICouldHaveAskedFor #DaytimeEmmys2020," she wrote.

The sweet words came three weeks after Kelly filed for divorce from Brandon after nearly seven years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. Since then, Kelly has reportedly been spending quality time with the couple's two children, daughter River Rose, 6, and son Remington Alexander, 4, at their home in Los Angeles.

“Her priority is making sure her children grow up in a stable, loving environment,” a source close to Kelly recently told People magazine.
