Kelly Clarkson had a busy Saturday in Las Vegas. The American Idol alum was in town to perform at night two of the iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 23. Kelly was a part of the star-studded lineup that included Kane Brown, The Foo Fighters, Tim McGraw, Sheryl Crow, and others. But, before her big performance, Kelly warmed up her vocals for the big night in a rather unconventional way for a star like herself. While walking the streets in casual athleisure and a baseball cap, she stopped for an impromptu street performance that has fans going crazy.

Kelly posted the clip to her Instagram saying, "I was on my way to soundcheck for @iHeartRadio tonight in Vegas and was tipping this incredible woman killing some Tina Turner and then she asked me to sing and had no clue who I was, and then it hit her, and it made my day! She gives the best hugs and sings her tail off! See ya tonight Vegas ❤️ #iHeartFestival2023."

From the video, it's clear the street performer did not recognize Kelly at first, but as one fan put it, "You can see the moment she realizes it's you 😂😂 so funny." If she's anything like us we're sure this made her year.

Fans ran to the comments to comment on the casual show. "Kelly’s like “there’s a strike, we can’t do Kellyoke, this will do.” 🤣 Love how you made this woman’s day and everyone who watched! Truly America’s Idol! ❤️," one fan joked. "This just put the biggest smile on my face" and "Protect these two at all costs," others chimed in.

If her street performance wasn't already impressive enough, Kelly crushed her festival performance sporting black from head to toe.

Kelly rocked thigh-high black boots, lace tights, and an oversized black blazer (talk about a revenge outfit!). She kicked off her set with her iconic "Stronger" and spiced things up by changing some of the lyrics to "Since U Been Gone," singing "I'm so happy now that you're gone." Kelly also threw in some songs off of her latest album Chemistry, and it's safe to say both her on-stage and street performance were perfection!
