Kelly Clarkson Stuns Fans With Absence From Her Talk Show

Fans of The Kelly Clarkson Show were taken aback after seeing a shocking post on the show's Instagram page. On Sunday, January 8, the show let viewers know that guest hosts would be filling in for singer during the week of January 9.
To start, America's Got Talent judge Howie Mandel took over hosting duties on Monday. This wasn't a moment we had on our 2023 bingo board, but it's a nice surprise to see him stepping into a fresh new hosting gig. And, luckily he doesn't have to do it alone. Howie co-hosted alongside his own daughter, Jackie and fellow AGT staple, Terry Crews.
With the caption reading, "TODAY it's all in the family! 🤗➡️ Don't miss guest host @HowieMandel, @TerryCrews and @jackelynshultz today on Kelly!" fans became extra concerned when they saw the cardboard cut out of the "Since U Been Gone" singer. It seemed to be the only sign of Kelly throughout the entire show and fans bombarded the comment section looking for an explanation.
"The Kelly Stand-in 😂😂😂😂," commented one person. Another asked, "Where is our Femme Fatale ❤🔥❤️of a host??" to which a fellow fan theorized that it was a pre-recorded episode for when she wasn't feeling well.
The rest of the week features Nick Jonas, Marlee Matlin, and Niecy Nash. But we're still not sure why Kelly is OOO.
She's been pretty quiet on her personal social media pages so whether she's taking some well-deserved rest, some time to feel better, spending time with family, or planning a top secret surprise, we hope she's okay, and we can't wait for her return.
