Kelly Clarkson is back! And not just as a coach on The Voice. The "Since U Been Gone" singer revealed that she's releasing new music, and she promises it will be "soon." Kelly has released a Christmas album and her Kellyoke compilation of remakes, but this would mark her first original album since 2017's Meaning of Life.

Kelly first sent fans spiraling with three simple emojis in her Instagram post. She posted a message that only had a wine glass, broken heart, and sunshine emoji. Fans immediately flooded her with messages of excitement.

  • "Kelly teasing NEW MUSIC. Nature has HEALED!"

  • "WHAT DOES IT MEAAAANN. WHAT DOES IT MEAAAANN"

  • "Some people wait a lifetime for a tease like this."

  • "MOM WHAT DOES THIS MEAN??"

  • "KELLY WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME I CANT HANDLE THIS YET"

  • "Can someone page @taylorswift fans to solve this riddle for us?"

Other astute fans pointed out that this is not Kelly's first reference to these emojis. She talked about a new album back when she was on Access Hollywood in January. Kit Hoover asked her to describe her new music in three emojis, and her answer was a wine emoji, a heartbreak emoji, and sunshine.

Kelly didn't leave fans hanging for long. In a personal video, she explained that her new album, Chemistry, will be out soon, and new music from the album will be out even sooner. She says, "When I say soon, I mean really soon." She explained the reason for the name Chemistry (which, she hinted, is also a song from the album). Kelly says, "Chemistry can be a really amazing, sexy, cool, fun thing, but it can also be very bad for you."

In her interview with Access Hollywood, Kelly explained that, after her divorce from Brandon Blackstock, it took her several years to get back to recording music. She explained, "This is my most personal record, and it's not all bad. There is heartbreak in it, and there is sadness in it, definitely, but there's also the whole arc of a relationship. I had to get through it to even process it."

And as if that's not enough, Kelly followed up her Chemistry announcement with one more bombshell for fans: She's heading to Vegas this summer for a 10-day residency!

Stay tuned for more details on Kelly's new music!
