Let’s face it: Heartbreak is hard. Sometimes, you just need a voice of reason to remind you there are better days ahead. For one person, that advice came from none other than Kelly Clarkson, the breakup anthem queen herself.

The American Idol alum took to Twitter to dole out some sage wisdom after a fan tagged her in a tweet. The user wrote about experiencing “the worst heartbreak” and playing “Since U Been Gone” to get through it. (May we recommend they add “Because of You” to the list, too?)

She could have just let the message pass her by. But instead, Kelly took the time to give her follower a little boost.

“Well, God bless the broken road that leads your beautiful behind to something better is what I say,” Kelly wrote.

So true! One might also say, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.” 😏

The comment sparked a flood of support from the internet, with many cheering Kelly on and saying the advice helped them, too.

“I need that positivity at the moment,” one person wrote. Others celebrated the singer and her constant positive attitude that often helps them feel better. “[Kelly Clarkson] is always the cure,” someone posted. “Why are you pure like sunshine?” another wrote.

The Kelly Clarkson Show host is known for sometimes surprising fans on Twitter with uplifting responses, similar to this encounter. For example, last year she took the time to earnestly answer a fan’s weight loss question, after quelling rumors about doing fad diets.

The whole exchange only further proves that we don't deserve the goddess that is Kelly Clarkson.
