Viewers of The Kelly Clarkson Show received a major treat on Wednesday's episode.

During the April 26 broadcast, the live studio audience was graced with a memorable duet performance delivered by host Kelly Clarkson and guest Carol Burnett. The pair joined forces for a jazzy melodic rendition of a very notable song to end the show—the latter's iconic farewell tune, "So Long," from her own The Carol Burnett Show, which originally ran on CBS from 1967 to 1978.

Even better, the legendary comedian celebrated her 90th birthday on the show, as she and Clarkson bonded over their Texas upbringings.

The crowd didn't hold in their feelings when Burnett was initially introduced to the stage, applauding with excitement, but once the two delivered the iconic duet to wrap up the segment, fans' adoration only grew.

"I'm so glad we had this time together," the two began singing, as they continued the first verse of the lyrics: "Just to have a laugh or sing a song / Seems we just get started and before you know it / Comes the time we have to say so long."

Upon finishing the short melody, an elated Clarkson jumped up to embrace the legend, who responded by telling her, "You're a doll."

Social media users who couldn't physically be in attendance took to the comments of the video, which was uploaded to YouTube, with their delightful reactions to the performance.

"Wow.. this was so amazing to watch. Best duet ever," one fan wrote, as another gushed, "This was so sweet, I actually got choked up. Looked like Carol just wanted to sit back and watch Kelly sing. Lol We know Carol, we do the same thing she’s amazing."

A third expressed, "OMG Kelly and the band had to be freaking out with excitement. That was epic. And they sounded beautiful together," while someone else theorized: "Kelly had to be feeling over the moon thrilled that she was singing with a luminary."

The "Since You've Been Gone" artist never fails to impress with both her vocals and powerful "Kellyoke" performances, recently taking to the stage with an emotional debut of her new track "Mine."
