Kelly Clarkson Absolutely Lost Her Cool With Gordon Ramsay During an Intense Situation

These days, it seems like Kelly Clarkson can do just about anything. She's an award winning host on The Kelly Clarkson Show. She can churn out hit after hit album. She can even coach rising singers to victory as a former coach on The Voice. But there's one thing she can't do very well and that's cooking on live TV.
Kelly Clarkson Show viewers got a taste of the singer's skills in the kitchen when she brought on Hell's Kitchen star Gordon Ramsay for a segment. The celebrity chef was there to teach Kelly and Dancing With the Stars pro Cheryl Burke how to make shrimp scampi in under five minutes. But what was meant to be an easy recipe quickly turned into a culinary disaster.
"No, no, no, no! Shrimp in this pan!" Gordon yelled at the "Since U Been Gone" singer, who made her first mistake seconds into the cooking demo. Understandably, Kelly couldn't help but get flustered. "I'm not breathing!" she said. "Oh my god! I'm sweating!"
Sadly for the ladies (but lucky for us), this was only the beginning. As the Kitchen Nightmares host kept adding more ingredients to the recipe, it was clear Kelly was not finding this an easy assignment. So much so, she eventually took a swig out of the wine bottle instead of adding it to her dish for a pasta sauce.
By the end of the five minute segment, everyone appeared to be completely spent with food tossed all over the kitchen stations. Though Kelly enjoyed her dish, she admitted that Gordon really spooked her through the entire process and it sounds like the feeling was mutual. "You ladies are a nightmare!" he jokingly said.
Unsurprisingly, fans loved the hilarious interaction. Many couldn't stop laughing in the YouTube comments section.
"I love that Kelly totally overlooks Gordon swearing and yelling and is screaming with laughter. You could tell by his expression he was having fun as well. 😂😂😂," one fan wrote. "Kelly screaming 'WHAT IS A MICROPLANE' 😂😂😂😂😂😂," another cackled. "This was so funny!!! Laughed throughout the entire segment!! And d--n right she earned that pasta!!," a different person said.
We were in hysterics watching Kelly lose her cool at one of the most well-known chefs in the world. But this isn't the first time she's shown off her limited cooking ability. Recently, the show's producers rounded up all of her greatest culinary fails on TikTok, and it's just too funny not to laugh.
So what kitchen fail can we see the American Idol winner do next? We'll have to wait and see — but if the show's producers are listening, please bring back Gordon for another round ASAP.
