Kellogg's New Froot Loops Candy Canes Are Here
Froot Loops lovers get ready because this news is going to make your holiday season a bit merrier. While the long beloved Kellogg's brand has been making people smile year after year with sweet releases like their branded Ice Pops, the limited edition Froot Loops Tropical and Froot Loops Birthday Cake cereals, and the Froot Loops Pop-Tarts, it's the official drop of the new Froot Loops candy canes that have really become the MVP in my book.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, December 5, the @dadbodsnacks account excitedly posted a photo of the holiday treat to share the news of its arrival to their massive amount of followers. "Froot Loops in candy cane form!?? I can say I’m not surprised cuz @frootloops has been dipping their toes in every seasonal pool lately. But I will say I think this is a great addition to the xmas candy cane line up. Toucan Sam’s rainbow of color and flavor is more iconic than people may realize," the caption read.
This isn't the first time the talk of Froot Loops candy canes has sent the interwebs into a frenzy, however. Over the summer, there was talk about a Froot Loops flavored candy cane for this Christmas season, but the mock-up—which was initially listed on the Redstone Foods site, but has since been taken down—saw the canes being white with twists of red, green, and a cranberry-like color. Now, however, the official canes reflect the classic purple, orange, red, green, yellow and blue colors. And honestly, this just fits so much better.
Each box will come with 12 colorful and delicious looking canes for you to deck your tree out with all the feel good vibes possible. If you're worried about not finding them in-store (because I mean who wouldn't want to stock up on anything Froot Loops flavored?), don't fret just yet. According to the Froot Loops Instagram account, you can also order them online for just $3.99.
You may want to hurry and place your order though. I may or may not have ordered 15 boxes already. Sorry, y'all.
