As much as we love a homemade stack of waffles, Kellogg’s has certainly done its fair share (and then some) of convincing us that frozen is the way to go. That’s becoming even more apparent with the brand’s new Narwhal Waffles.

Aside from its classic flavors, it released Unicorn Waffles (which taste like cotton candy) and Mermaid Waffles (which taste like blue raspberry) last year. It also released Birthday Cake Waffles around the same time. The new Narwhal variety fits in perfectly with the mythical theme — plus, they remind us of that scene at the beginning of Elf.

Just like the Unicorn and Mermaid varieties had fun tastes, so does this new one. The waffles have a raspberry flavor, so we’re already thinking about how they’ll taste when drenched in butter and syrup. As with any other kind of Kellogg’s breakfast pastry, all you have to do is pop the frozen waffles in the toaster and you’ll have a crispy, yet fluffy, breakfast in no time.

You can find these blue waffles at Walmart, where they’re listed for $2.96 for a box of six. Although the color and flavor is already exciting enough, we’re tempted to take it up a notch by topping our stack with whipped cream and sprinkles. We’d be lying if we said that doesn’t sound like an A+ dessert …
