Never boring and forever groovy, Keke Palmer is all about a fun manicure. From mismatched 3D designs to textured pink swirls and Oz-worthy green details, you never know what her next nail look—and even her next singular nail, a lot can happen between the thumb and pinky—will bring to the table.

In a March 27 Instagram post promoting her hosting duties on the NBC game show PASSWORD, the 30-year-old showed off another wild design, this time made up of cool blue shades. Although she usually coordinates with nail artist Bria Monae for her manicures, there's no telling who the artist behind this look is. Still, we can guess the inspiration.

With her thumbs, middle fingers, and ring fingers showcasing a deep French manicure design with tips transitioning from periwinkle to white, the pinky and pointer fingers feature a multicolored mosaic that would look right at home on the wing of a Blue Wing (myscelia ethusa) x Blue Metalmark (lasaia sula) butterfly hybrid. Yes, I looked up butterfly species to find as close a comparison as possible—we'll call that the Keke Palmer manicure effect.

While the nails differed in color and design, each was shaped the same way: long and almond. A couple of reflective beads also adorned the more butterfly wing-esque nails, adding a three-dimensional aspect to an already full-of-dimension style.

To finish off her retro outfit, Palmer wore a pair of funky patterned bell bottoms in the same blue-white-gray-black color scheme as her nails. She also added white patent-leather platform heeled boots, a purple one-shoulder long-sleeved top, and white belt with doily-inspired detailing. She wore her hair down with straight across bangs, matching her wide-framed purple glasses to her shirt and throwing on chunky silver hoops for good measure. Keke, my Groovy Girls want your outfit. And I want your manicure.
