Keke Palmer Welcomes First Child With Darius Jackson

The first-time parents shared an adorable photo of their beautiful baby boy announcing his birth earlier today.

Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson are officially parents!

The actress took to social media earlier this evening to announce the good news that the Palmer-Jackson family has grown by one with an adorable little addition.

Along with the cute selfies of the new parents, Palmer included a few photos of their newborn son–whom the couple welcomed on Saturday, Feb. 25 –and named Leodis Andrellton Jackson, later clarifying that they plan to call the baby "Leo" for short.

"Hey Son!!!!" the Nope star casually began in her baby's birth announcement on Instagram.

"1. Only 48hrs of being parents! 😳," she revealed, continuing to give fans an even further glimpse into the couple's relationship and new life as first-time parents. "2. Darius always made me playlists when we first started dating, 'Someone' by El Debarge was a favorite. We became each other’s someone and made a someone, look at God! 😆3. The baby love Rolling Ray, cause purrr.4. 'I’m not hiding the world from my son, I’m hiding my son from the world.' Hahaha."

Palmer's statement concluded, "I’m just playing, my baby face is on this slide.6. And this slide 🤣🥹😅😍❤️🙏🏾😇😭Born during Black History Month, with a name to match 😄!LEODIS ANDRELLTON JACKSON, welcome to the world baby Leo."

Friends and fans immediately showered the couple with love in the comments, with Abbott Elementary creator and star Quinta Brunson writing, "Congrats Keke❤️❤️❤️❤️."

Queer Eye's Karamo Brown also chimed in, "Congrats! So happy for you both."

Lin Manuel-Miranda later added, "Perfect baby is perfect. Congratulations!"
