Keke Palmer Shows Off Colorblock Look in Cherry-Embellished Gucci Sneakers
Keke Palmer took to Instagram on Monday to share some feelings alongside a throwback snap of herself donning some eye-catching sneakers.
In the snap, a pregnant Palmer strikes a pose in a brightly-colored outfit paired with Gucci’s cherry-embellished iteration of its “Screener” model. The ’70s-inspired silhouette crafted from distressed nubuck and perforated leather is topped with three transparent, golden yellow cherries featuring tiny round rhinestones.

Beyond the detachable cherry detail, which is threaded through the laces, the shoe comes in a creamy beige hue with hits of different shades of green and boasts Gucci’s signature green and red Web motif.
Debuting on the runway at the Italian luxury label’s spring 2019 show, the “Screener” silhouette has an intentionally worn-in appearance and is complete with an oval enamel Double G logo directly above the toe box. The shoe is now only available to purchase second-hand online.
The actress, who has become known for taking fashion risks over the years, also wore a short green bodycon dress with a Barbie pink cropped zip-up hoodie on top.
When it comes to Palmer’s personal style, the former Disney Channel star is not afraid to make a statement and stand out. On the red carpet, she’s stepped out in a variety of bold shoe styles, including leopard print pumps, sky-high metallic platforms and strappy stilettos. Some of her favorite brands in terms of footwear are Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin and Giuseppe Zanotti.
As for off-duty looks, you’ll often find the “Big Boss” artist sporting more casual styles from more accessible brands such as Vans and Nike.
