Another day, another Keke Palmer manicure that we'll be copying as soon as possible. Every time we see Palmer with new nails, we can't help but obsess. There was her jaw-dropping mismatched manicure, her perfect summer cherry Jello nails, and the latte nails that looked good enough to eat. Her latest look that we can't wait to copy is a "cherry mocha" reverse French look that is just as on-trend as it is perfect for fall.

On October 3, Palmer posted an Instagram carousel showing off her new glasses collaboration with Zenni Optical, which included sunglasses as well as prescription glasses.

Her caption said that "retro is back," so she was decked out in '70s-inspired clothes. She hit a few poses for the campaign in a brown leather skirt, knitted bodysuit, red and navy cardigan, and some gold jewelry—all of which matched Palmer's nails perfectly.

She held her glasses in a way that perfectly showed off her reverse French manicure—also called a half moon manicure. Instead of the color being concentrated at the tip of her nails, it engulfed the entire bed, leaving just a small negative space crescent shape near her cuticles. The color was a dark, deep red that was the exact shade that's currently going viral on TikTok.

If you are anywhere near as obsessed with #NailTok as we are, you've probably seen cherry mocha nails blowing up. Inspired by DND's Cherry Mocha Lacquer ($8), nail lovers have been moving away from bright summer shades in favor of deep reds that resemble the color of a black cherry. The dark, moody color is perfect for fall weather and the upcoming holidays, and looks so good against a sweater.

If you want to match with Palmer and put a fun twist on the shade of the season, we have you covered with a step-by-step.

First, like any manicure, you'll need to remove any lingering nail polish with nail polish remover. After that, apply cuticle oil to your cuticles to soften them and push them back. Then, cut and file your nails to the desired length before buffing and applying your favorite base coat.

Once the base coat is dry, it's time for color. To help create the crescent shape, you can add tape or a circle sticker to the base of your nail. Then, paint over it with two coats of DND's Cherry Mocha or a similar dark red shade.

Once the color is dry, seal in your polish with your favorite top coat, and there you have it.
