Keke Palmer Debuted a Silk Press Short Bob

It's bob season! As the weather gets warmer, hair keeps getting shorter! Keke Palmer just debuted an ultra short bob and gave us the perfect spring hairstyle inspo we needed.
In a series of selfies shared to her Instagram page, Palmer posed with her short layered black hair curled at the ends, falling just above her jawbone. Throughout the photos, she opts for different styles including a tousled look, a deep side-part, and a major hair flip. The short and sweet bob was the perfect compliment to her casual and cool outfit, a cropped white T-shirt, baggy bootcut jeans, and silver hoop earrings and bangles.
Lucky for us, Palmer gave a quick update on her hair in the caption. She wrote, “got a long awaited silk press and healthy hair education from @khyelijah, more to come on that! Well worth the wait.” We have to agree that this look was definitely worth waiting to see!
Palmer’s son, Leodis, also made a cameo in the Instagram photo dump. As we learned from their recent Easter photoshoot as well as their Christmas and Halloween photoshoots, this mother-son duo can certainly serve up some stunning looks.
Bobs are having a moment lately. We've been seeing a lot celebs make the big chop and also a few major dye jobs too. Gigi Hadid documented her haircut in early March. Halle Bailey opted for a short hairstyle last month too. More recently, Megan Fox underwent a dramatic transformation by getting a denim blue long bob. Although they’ve already been sporting them, Zendaya and Dixie D’Amelio both gave their bobs updates with hair color changes as well. Zendaya debuted a rich blonde hue, and D’Amelio went with a platinum blonde shade.
Palmer took the bob trend a step further, opting for an ultra short bob. In true Keke Palmer fashion, the look is super sweet and chic, which is perfect for spring. We can’t wait to see how Palmer continues to style it.
