  • Keith Urban shared the sweetest birthday tribute to Nicole Kidman in honor of her 56th birthday.

  • Fans loved the post.

  • The pair will celebrate 17 years of marriage June 25.

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have never been ashamed to show off their love for each other—that’s why we caught them stealing kisses in a PDA-packed moment at the 2023 Oscars, and why the country star didn’t hold back in his new Instagram honoring Kidman’s 56th birthday.

The post pictured the back of Kidman on an outdoorsy stroll (perhaps wearing that Lululemon jacket?), her face turned up to spy an owl in a line of trees. “To my gorgeous, sexy, adventurous, curious, nature loving, owl spotting, artist, wife: happy birthday baby!!!!!! xxxxxx,” Urban wrote.

Fans chimed in with their own birthday wishes and adoration for the couples’ smitten love. “I love how IN LOVE you both are still,” one person commented. “Happy birthday Nicole, hope your birthday is as beautiful as you are,” another added. “Cuteness overloaded,” someone else wrote.

The pair regularly take turns dedicating sweet posts to each other. On Father’s Day, Kidman shared a snap of Urban riding go-karts with one of their daughters, writing: “Happy Father’s Day to the coolest dad there is! You are so loved by all of us! Your girls ❤️.” (They are Mom and Dad to Sunday Rose, 13, and Faith Margaret, 11.)

After attending this year’s Met Gala, the Big Little Lies star shared an intimate photo of her and Urban dressed to the nines with the caption: “Night Night xx.” And in October, Kidman wished her hubs a happy birthday with an equally sappy post, writing: “Happy Birthday my love ❤️❤️❤️❤️4ever.”

Urban and Kidman married in June 2006 and since then, Urban has been outspoken—in song and in conversation—about how their relationship “saved” his life from cocaine and alcohol misuse.

“I had to find a different way to be in the world,” he told The Sunday Times last year. “I’m glad it didn’t change anything about my music. I wrote plenty of hit songs while drunk. I wrote plenty sober. I feel lucky it hasn’t defined my creativity.”

In his song called “Thank You,” Urban speaks directly to Kidman’s impact with the lyrics: “I thank you for my life, and I thank God for grace and mercy, and that you became my wife.”

Their 17th wedding anniversary is fast approaching (June 25th!), so another perfectly mushy post is bound to surface from them both very soon—and we can’t wait.
