In 2017, we said goodbye to so many iconic artists including Glenn Campbell, Gregg Allman, Don Williams, and Tom Petty. So it was fitting that, when Keith Urban performed at the 2018 Jack Daniel's Music City Midnight: New Year's Eve in Nashville, the country singer chose to close out the year with a touching tribute to some of those stars.

"This year we lost a lot of our friends, a lot of musicians, a lot of the people that influenced me, and a lot of people that were just seriously phenomenal," he said to the audience. "I wanted to put together this medley this year as we bring in the new year to celebrate them and remember them tonight."

The medley included the following songs: Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun" (a tribute to Chris Cornell), "Midnight Rider" by Allman, Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode," "Tulsa Time" by Williams, "Wichita Lineman" by Campbell, Montgomery Gentry's "My Town," "Back in Black" by AC/DC (in honor of Malcolm Young), and finally, Petty's "Free Fallin'."

During the last song, Urban brought his wife, Nicole Kidman, and their two daughters, Sunday Rose, 9, and Faith Margaret, 7, on stage for a sweet family moment. Even in the girls' short, rare public appearance, it's evident that they look a lot like both of their celebrity parents.
