Keith Richards Recreates Wedding Kiss With His Wife for 39th Anniversary

The musician also celebrated his 79th birthday this past weekend.

Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards had much to celebrate this weekend! 

The musician turned 79 years old on Sunday, Dec. 18, but that wasn't the only occasion to fall on the date. Richards and his wife, Patti Hansen, also celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary, complete with an adorable recreation of their first kiss as spouses.

The couple's daughter, Theodora Richards, shared photos from the big day on Instagram this past weekend, writing, "A jubilee happened yesterday 🎂💋🍯🇦🇷💕🪩 My parents had a party where we celebrated my dad being another year older and that my parents have been married for 39 years ( really it’s 43yrs of togetherness but we’ll go off the legitimacy of their 1983 Cabo wedding ) I am so proud of this family."

The 37-year-old continued, writing, "We’ve been through a lot but the love is so strong and powerful that it carries us forever forward on a cloud of compassion and courage. I love you mom and dad. You guys are my inspiration. And HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY dear Daddio."

The photos included two near-mirror images, the first of the two kissing at the wedding and the second of two kissing under a banner of hearts in their home, with Hansen wearing the same wedding dress from nearly four decades prior. 

Theodora also included a photo of their scrumptious chocolate cake, possibly on the couple's fine wedding china. 

Richards himself also shared a throwback photo from the wedding, featuring his wife looking on lovingly as he serenaded her with his guitar. 

"Happy Anniversary, Patricia❤️ . Love, Keith," he wrote.
