Keep Tyler Beautiful holds open call for local artists

TYLER, Texas (KETK) – Keep Tyler Beautiful has put out an open call for local artists to select art for beautification projects.

According to a release, Keep Tyler Beautiful is looking for artist to contribute to a mural for Southside Park and the Beauty and the Box Program.

“The Keep Tyler Beautiful Board will select art pieces that spark creativity, happiness, and hope while representing the beauty and diversity of the Tyler community, East Texas or Texas. The board will announce the winning pieces in early June, and the artwork will be completed by July.”

Artists looking to submit their artwork can do so by emailing ktyb@tylertexas.com. Submissions are due May 31.
