'The Matrix' star marveled fans with his choice.

Keanu Reeves did a Reddit AMA on Mar. 4, where he shared tons of fascinating tidbits about his career.

When asked if there's a role that he regrets turning down, Reeves gave a surprising answer: "No…but I did always want to play Wolverine." The role of Wolverine was portrayed in the X-Men franchise by Hugh Jackman, turning the Australian actor into a household name.

Reeves was also asked if he'd spoken with DC Studios CEO James Gunn about a possible sequel to Constantine, to which he gave a succinct "Yes." Reeves starred in the 2005 movie loosely based on DC's Hellblazer comics.

A spokesperson for Warner Bros. had told Entertainment Weekly in February that there were still plans for a Constantine sequel made by Francis Lawrence, who also directed the first movie.

Another interesting anecdote Reeves shared was about the late River Phoenix.

The actor recalled that while filming My Own Private Idaho, he "had a scene with River Phoenix and he was sitting on the back of a motorcycle that I was driving while we were filming. It wasn’t extracurricular, but we went off the beaten path a bit and came back and no helmets. Just two friends playing. It was a really good day."

Besides delving into his career, Reeves gave fans a glimpse into his personal life.

When asked what he's passionate about outside his work, the John Wick star said he enjoys "motorcycles, typewriters, Japanese whisky, playing in the band, learning, reading, and some fine red wine."

He also said that when he was a kid, he "always said" he wanted to be "a race car driver, a conductor, or an astrophysicist." But today, he'd prefer to "conduct some music."
