Keanu Reeves Shares a Rare PDA Moment With Girlfriend on the Red Carpet
The actor and his girlfriend shared a sweet and passionate kiss in front of the cameras.
Keanu Reeves gave fans a rare glimpse into his relationship with his girlfriend Alexandra Grant!
The John Wick actor, 58, and his girlfriend, 49, stepped out Sat., April 15 for the 2023 Museum of Contemporary Art Gala in Los Angeles, where they were seen packing on the PDA.
While walking the red carpet, Reeves and Grant didn't hold back, putting their love on full display for the world–and cameras–to see. The duo was photographed holding hands, gazing lovingly at each other, and sharing a sweet kiss.
Donning a black suit with a white button-up underneath and a striped tie, Reeves leaned into to kiss the visual artist on the lips. She rocked a long haltered red dress that featured floral prints throughout. Her ensemble included a ruffle up top which also flowed out at the bottom.
It's unclear when the actor and visual artist began dating as they didn't go public with their relationship until 2019 when they were spotted holding hands at the Saint Laurent fashion show in June of that year. However, they have known each other long before that as they previously worked together on a book titled, Ode to Happiness, which was published in 2011.
“The book was made as a surprise, by me, for Keanu, as a private gift. All our friends sitting in the room got the giggles when I gave it to him–they said, ‘Please publish it!’ So that’s how we got into publishing," Grant revealed to British Vogue in 2020.
Reeves has kept his love life under wraps for decades. In 2019, he told Parade that he doesn't quite understand the world's fascination with him, but he also doesn't necessarily mind it, either. “I came to Hollywood to be in movies. I feel really grateful that I’ve had that opportunity, but I’m just a private person, and it’s nice that can still exist,” he said.
