KCK Taco Trail unveiled its new mascot, and they want your name ideas:

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City, Kansas Taco Trail will stay in the metro for at least another year, and now that it has become a symbol for the diverse and deeply-rooted food culture Kansas City has to offer, the trail needs your help in naming its newest addition to the team.

Kevin Hart is coming to KC… and here’s everything you need to know:

Meet the latest mascot of the KCK taco trail!

This new symbol for the trail represents a variety of Mexican cuisines and more than 60 Taquerias and Tex-Mex restaurants, meaning its name needs to be as big, bold and special as the businesses and food it symbolizes.

To submit your ideas for the mascot’s name, you can go to the trail’s website, and while you’re at it, you might as well sign up for the KCK Taco Trail itself.

The trail is more than just a chance to immerse yourself in the history of local Mexican cuisine and culture. It is a chance to build connections, join a community and eat good food while being rewarded for it.

Until April 15, 2025, interested participants can sign up for the free KCK Taco Trail pass and earn points and prizes, like tickets to the “Tacos and Tequila” festival on June 1.

Since Forbes named KCK the Taco Capital of the United States in March 2021, hundreds have lived up to the name and participated in the challenge. However, with only 52 weeks in the year and over 60 stops on the trail, new participants will need to start sooner rather than later.
