After a day of speculation from fans on social media, the pop singer confirmed that she is indeed expecting. Perry revealed the news in her new music video for "Never Worn White," released late last night.

Perry poked fun at having to hide her pregnancy on Twitter with her fans saying, "omg, so glad I don't have to suck it in anymore—or carry around a big purse lol," wrote the singer.

This will be Perry's first child. Perry's fiancé, Orlando Bloom shares a nine-year-old son, Flynn, with his ex-wife, model Miranda Kerr.

Is Katy Perry about to share a bombshell announcement with her fans?

The "Never Really Over" singer sent Twitter into shambles today after posting a teaser of the new music video for her ballad "Never Worn White."

The clip showcases Perry in two separate looks—one being an avant-garde floral ensemble, the other a flowy white silk gown. While wearing the latter, Perry caresses her belly, which some viewers interpreted as a baby bump.

Perry's biggest fans quickly turned to social media to share their excitement over the still unconfirmed news.

Perry didn't mention any pregnancy news when tweeted out the teaser for the new video. However, she did inform her followers that she would be doing a Q&A with fans ahead of the video's premiere later tonight.

"You are cordially invited to the premiere of #NeverWornWhite," wrote Perry. "Join me on the @YouTube watch page tonight at 8:30pm PT and chat with me (promise not a bot!) before the video premieres at 9pm PT!"

If Perry is indeed expecting, it would be the first child for the pop singer and the second for her fiancé, actor Orlando Bloom. Bloom shares a son, Flynn Christopher Bloom, with his ex-wife, model Miranda Kerr.
