This week, Katy Perry announced, via a music video for her new single "Never Wore White," that she is pregnant with her and fiancé Orlando Bloom's first child together. "Let's just say it's gonna be a jam packed summer," she wrote in a tweet as the music video dropped.

On Saturday, Perry showed up at the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2020 event at the Melbourne Cricket Ground wearing a colorblock dress by designer Mara Hoffman. She paired the puff-sleeve dress with Rejina Pyo sandals and Rachel Comey earrings.

"There's a lot that's happening this summer," she said on an Instagram live video. "Not only will I be giving birth, literally, and figuratively…to something you guys have been waiting for."

She added in the video that this was the "biggest secret she's ever had to keep" but wanted to wait to reveal it through "a piece of music." This is Perry's first child; Bloom already has 9-year-old Flynn, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Miranda Kerr.

Perry and Bloom have been together, on and off, since 2016. They met for the first time at the Golden Globes that year, where Us Weekly said that they were "extremely flirty and whispering to each other."

A little over a year later, they broke up; E! News said it was Perry who ended things. By May of 2018, Perry let it slip on American Idol that she was "not single." In February 2019, Perry announced on Instagram that she and Bloom were engaged. She also showed off her whopper of a ring.

They announced in December 2019 that they had postponed their wedding and reportedly "changed the timing due to the location they want." A source told Us Weekly that the couple is "beyond in love." It looks like they've got a lot to look forward to in the coming months.
