It’s officially American Idol season, and Katy Perry is super busy filming the new episodes. But, of course, she’s going to roll out some killer fashion in the process.

Case in point: Her look for the Top 20 reveal. Katy dropped several photos of her outfit on Instagram, which feature her new bangs(!) and a gorgeous, cut-out, mermaid dress that highlights her toned abs.

“This show is not for the faint of 💚 Watch #idol for the Top 20 reveal and keep your phone charged to vote after the show 🗳️📱,” she wrote in the caption. People were all over it in the comments. “This dress 🔥🔥🔥🔥,” one wrote, while another said, “I’M LIVINGGG.” A third commented, "SOOOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUUUUUUL QUEEN," which pretty much sums up what everyone is thinking.

Katy joked in a follow-up post that she was “late but not ugly” to get to the stage as she hurried down the steps of her trailer.

And FWIW, it’s looks like the bangs were fake. Katy later shared a video of herself walking (and tripping) around bangs-less. But it was still a major new look while they were still attached.

Apparently being late is a ~thing~ for Katy—because she's even late to her workouts. She previously told Wall Street Journal that she kinda-totally shows up late to work with her trainer on purpose. “My exercise routine is being half late to the workout because I hate working out," she shared. “I'm always like, 'I'm so late, too bad I can only do a few things.' The guy who works me out is like, ‘Yeah, right.’”

Katy previously told Women's Health that she isn't exactly obsessed with exercise. "It's not my favorite thing to do with the world—unless I'm dancing or I'm snowboarding or I'm doing something that's kind of masked," she said. However, she did share that she's into trying out pickle ball with friends, too.

Overall, Katy said she strives to exercise three to four times a week with things like weight training and yoga.

Also in the mix? Getting in her steps. Katy is into hiking also likes to make it a family affair—she told the WSJ that she and her husband Orlando Bloom hike together and take their daughter, Daisy, too. “Orlando has one of those hiking backpacks that we can pop Daisy into; she loves it,” Katy said.

When she's not getting her heart rate up outside, Katy said she loves the mental perks she gets from her yoga practice. “I have had a dance with depression, and hot yoga helps clear it all out,” she told Prevention. She particularly loves CorePower Yoga, because “you always know what you’re going to get.”

On the food front, Katy told Prevention that she definitely doesn’t eat healthy 100 percent of the time or even 80 percent of the time (an 80/20 diet has you eating healthy foods for 80 percent of the time and whatever you want for 20 percent of the time). “Let’s be honest,” she said. “It’s 60/40.”

Katy Perry, everyone!
