Katy Perry Steals the Show in Red Holiday Gown to Celebrate Career Accomplishment

The 'American Idol' judge is marking a special milestone for her holiday song, 'Cozy Little Christmas.'

Celebrating in style! Katy Perry got all dolled up to tell her fans about a major milestone she recently hit for her holiday song, "Cozy Little Christmas." 

After initially releasing the festive tune in 2018, the American Idol judge, 38, announced via Instagram on Tuesday that the song has officially gone Platinum, meaning it has sold one million copies. 

She honored the special occasion with a series of sultry snaps on social media, as she dressed to the nines in a ravishing red ballgown. 

In the photos, Perry is seen looking demure in the strapless red satin number, while adorned with matching diamonds around her neck and hanging from her ears. She also sported a glam makeup look for the photo-op, with a red hue of eyeshadow on her lids and a bright fire engine-red gloss on her lips. 

She was also seen holding her little pup Nugget, who was dressed for the occasion in a festive plaid bowtie. But the pop star's main accessory was the giant frame of her new platinum single cover, which she flaunted for the camera.

The "Roar" singer also took the opportunity to plug her shoe line, Katy Perry Collections, particularly the Delilah Jingle style, which feature a small jingle bell on the tip of the toe. 

"When 🎄Cozy Little Christmas🎄 goes platinum, ya go platinum with the Dellilah Jingle too! #shoesdaytuesday 😘💚❤️" she captioned her post, which also included pics of all of the colors that the shoe style comes in. (Perry herself opted for the all-silver style). 

"We love a Delilah’s 😍" one account commented on the post, while many of her friends and fans couldn't get over how gorgeous she looked in the snaps. 

"Stunning," stylist Johnny Wujek wrote under the post, while makeup artist Anthony H. Nguyen called the look, "Fancyyyy😍❤️🔥."
