Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom took a trip to Kentucky while Bloom filmed a new movie.

The "Fireworks" singer documented their time in the state earlier this year, sharing snapshots from various activities like trips to Walmart and painting sessions.

Perry posted seven photos and three videos on Instagram, with the first image showing a unique strawberry in her hand.

It looks like Perry and Bloom had a lot of fun in Kentucky, as the rest of the post includes a video of Perry ziplining in a cave, meeting a sloth, putting together a LEGO set, making a candle, and playing a game of Uno with tiny cards.

The picture of Perry showing off a painting of a mushroom and a snail while holding a drink was tagged with the account of the independent art studio Whet Your Palette in Louisville.

In one video clip, Bloom is seen trying to rescue something from in between two boards of a deck, while the next video shows a happy and victorious Bloom showing off his prize to Perry.

In response to Perry's post, Bloom commented, "It’s just a life of lovin."

Based on the location, it looks like the new photos and videos are from when Bloom filmed the upcoming movie Red Right Hand, also starring Andie MacDowell, Scott HazeGarret Dillahunt, and more.

As reported by Deadline, Red Right Hand tells the story of "Cash (Bloom), who is trying to live an honest and quiet life, taking care of his niece Savannah in the Appalachian hills of Odim County. When the sadistic Queenpin Big Cat (MacDowell), who runs the town, forces him back into her services, Cash learns he’s capable of anything—even killing—to protect the town and the only family he has left. As the journey gets harder, Cash is drawn into a nightmare that blurs the lines between good and evil."

Perry, who has been a judge on American Idol for the past few years, seems to be taking some time to relax before returning for Season 21 along with fellow judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, as well as host Ryan Seacrest.

Deadline reported that ABC renewed the show in May, and it will be the sixth season of American Idol to air on the channel.
