Katy Perry is strutting through a fashion fiesta thanks to her stint as a judge on American Idol. The pop sensation took a detour to Leesburg, Georgia for some Idol hometown visits, rocking a fresh ivory puff-sleeve mini dress that fell off the shoulder. But that’s not all—she sprinkled some country charm into the mix with pastel blue knee-length boots and a brown cowboy hat.

Adding a splash of sparkle, she donned vibrant blue dangly earrings to complete her look as she fulfilled her duties as a judge on the show. The ‘Teenage Dream’ icon captioned her post, “this ain’t Texas, it’s Leesburg #idol.”

Katy Perry Rocks A Country Look For Idol In Georgia

Fans were loving her cowboy look as they commented tons of praise under her post on Instagram.

“This cowboy style is stunning,” wrote one fan. Another user said, “Katy we love you and want you to come back to music.”

Another excited fan asked of a possible new album, “Can you please release a country album?”

With the news that this marks her final season as an American Idol judge, many have observed the mother of one’s absence of thrilling outfits that truly reflect her personality. Style enthusiasts love her for her bright, colorful outfits, but have noticed a shift in her looks as she departs from the show.

A Stylist Says Katy Perry's American Idol Looks Are 'Not Natural' To Her

According to The Sun, top New York stylist Amanda Sanders recently said, "These dresses look lumpy, and some are not properly tailored. These clothes are not natural to Katy, which would frustrate her. We also see her body language changing on set because of it."

She did mention that it's possible the producers are styling her to fit their vision, as the 'Wide Awake' singer finds herself with limited creative input given that this is her farewell season.

"The Idol team might be dressing Katy a certain way just for the last series. Katy looks how they want her to before she leaves and is a little more what the producers want. She probably has less creative control now that she is finishing her time there," Sanders revealed.
