Katy Perry Discussed The Challenges Of Being An "American Idol" Judge, Pranking Lionel Richie, And More While Playing With Puppies

Recently, Katy Perry swung by BuzzFeed to do our puppy interview. Honestly, it was one of the cutest things I've ever seen!

To celebrate American Idol, we asked her all of your burning questions about her music, motherhood, her Las Vegas residency, and, of course, being an Idol judge.

She even paused to give the puppies a mini-concert.

She shared the hardest part of being an American Idol judge...

And the most rewarding part of being an American Idol judge.

She also shared some of her favorite memories from working with her fellow judges, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie.

Katy also joked about her plan to reenact The Parent Trap with Adele, who also has a current Las Vegas residency.

And she invited Lizzo to join her as the fourth Idol judge.

And she really bonded with the precious pups — so much that she almost took one home!
