Katy Perry Basically Wore Pajamas to a Party
Katy Perry was so prepared to go to bed while she was out partying on Wednesday night, she went in her pajamas — or the couture version of it as well.
She started off the evening at the BRIT Awards on the right foot. She walked the red carpet in a matching blazer and minidress. The Atelier Versace ensemble was pink and silver and featured sequins and tassels. She switched in another blazer combo for her performance: a purple striped jacket and matching pants and a matching crop top that was held up by a suspender, all by Adam Selman. She wore plum converse for her time onstage.
Then she changed again into a beautiful flowing number for the after-party hosted by Universal Music. The romantic rose print sheer robe and trousers were straight from Adam Selman’s Fall 2017 runway during New York Fashion Week. She accentuated the red of the roses with red strappy heels and a bright red lip.

The dress was more like a kimono, with matching PJ pants underneath. The fact that she was going for fancy Hygge was only accentuated by the fact that Perry hopped into bed and posed for a picture, which she then posted on Instagram.
That outfit was made for sleeping.
Of course, she does own proper pajamas, as demonstrated this Thanksgiving when she and her family, including her boo Orlando Bloom, wore matching red PJs. But who wouldn’t want to sleep in the lap of luxury in the rose covered ensemble?
