Katy Perry Already Has a Funny Nickname for Her Unborn Daughter

• The couple announced their pregnancy earlier this year, with the singer's due date expected to be just around the corner.

Perhaps it comes as no surprise that Katy Perry may turn out to be a jokester of a mom. Recall the time she dressed up herself and her dog as the elephants in Dumbo for a sweet, at-home rendition of "Baby Mine." Or point to the mischievous way she and her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, revealed the gender of their baby.

Now, the pop star is revealing another way she plans to make motherhood humorous. With her due date right around the corner and with her little one moving around often, Perry recently revealed the nickname she has given to her unborn daughter.

"I call her Kicky Perry," she said, per ABC. "I love a pun."

Even as Kicky continues to grow and get ready for her entrance into the world, the activity hasn't slowed Perry down. "I'm really active right now and, you know, my doctors are like 'Stay active, you're good. You're good to go, girl!'" she continued. "So I've been dancing, I've been singing a lot."

In another recent interview with The Graham Norton Show (via Evening Standard), the singer talked about "learning to be a mom fast" while quarantining with "a three-year-old and a six-year-old and my brother has an eight-month-old baby." She also has been spending a lot of down time with Bloom and his nine-year-old son, Flynn Bloom, whom he co-parents with ex Miranda Kerr.

"Kids gravitate towards me through my music, so I am used to them," she said, "but I am not used to being woken up really early in the morning by them staring at me from the side of my bed."
