  • Katy Perry, 37, just showed off her sculpted arms, abs, and legs in her latest live performance.

  • The singer wore a scarlet red latex bodysuit and matching chaps while performing her new song on Saturday Night Live.

  • To stay fit, Katy does strength training three to five times a week and goes on hikes with her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, and their daughter.

Katy Perry is flashing her strong arms and abs in her latest performance on Saturday night Live. The "Roar" singer shined in an all-red latex outfit as she performed her new single "When I'm Gone." To complete the look Katy added a red mushroom hat to match with her colorful set.

While I was loving her performance and her outfit (the chaps? to die for.), I couldn't get over how incredibly toned Katy looked.

As it turns out, Katy put's in a lot of work at the gym, even when she's not the most excited to be there. Last year the pop star told the Wall Street Journal, "My exercise routine is being half late to the workout because I hate working out."

To get herself in top shape for her Las Vegas residency, Katy worked out three to five times a week. "Really it is about strength training and weights," she said. Katy also incorporates plyometric exercises to stay strong, per Shape.

Aside from all those high-energy performances, she enjoys going on hikes with her husband, Orlando Bloom, and their one-year-old Daisy. "Orlando has one of those hiking backpacks that we can pop Daisy into; she loves it," Katy explained.

Katy's also big on maintaining a healthy diet. She told the Wall Street Journal she and Orlando drink "healthy concoctions" before moving on to their morning coffee. They also have a Niacin flushing drink, that "makes us all red and gets the blood moving."On other days, they'll grab a simple glass of celery juice.

For breakfast, she'll make avocado toast, or if she's on spending time with her daughter, she'll reach for Daisy's leftover fruit. But when she wants a bigger meal, she'll eat a breakfast burrito with hot sauce. "I’m not a huge breakfast person, so I usually wait for lunch, and with lunch, I’m all about the salad," she added.

Get it, Katy!
