Katie Holmes's latest red-carpet look is proving that crocheted pieces will be one of this season's go-to wardrobe staples.

While attending the premiere for Alone Together at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival, the actress opted for an ivory white tank top and long flared silk from Chloé's pre-fall 2022 collection. The unique set, made of wool silk, was produced by hand crochet and knitting savoir faire and took approximately 180 hours to finish.

She finished the look off with minimalistic accessories, including a chunky gold chain necklace, a gold bracelet, and a tan leather clutch embellished with braided details also from Chloé.

Holmes's boyfriend, musician and producer Bobby Wooten III, joined her on the red carpet. He looked suave in a collarless white button-up, a black jacket, olive green trousers, and black dress shoes.

The couple first went public with their relationship while attending The Moth's 25th Anniversary Gala last month. There, they cozied up on the red carpet for another fashionable appearance.

Holmes looked elegant in a bright orange ruffled dress by Jonathan Simkhai, featuring a high neck and billowing sleeves. Accessories included black strappy heels, gold drop earrings, and an art deco handbag. Meanwhile, Wooten looked cool in a dark teal suit with black accents, designed by Paul Smith.

Holmes previously talked to BAZAAR.com about her personal style when she's not on the red carpet.

"I love my T-shirts, and I love my vintage T-shirts. They're so yummy," she said. "They're a little dirty, a little stained or whatever, and that's me."
