Katie Holmes Wore a Bold Dress with Ab Cutouts to a NYFW Party

Katie Holmes dressed up in a rare party look at New York Fashion Week.

The Batman Begins actor stepped out in a trendy cutout dress for the grand opening of luxury watchmaker's Vacheron Constantin's new flagship boutique. Her black maxi-length dress combined boldness and comfort, with a drawstring-tie neckline reminiscent of an upside-down bikini top, and a triangular cutout at her waist. She also wore a black button down shirt over the dress, and finished the look with white sneakers.

Holmes, 42, also shared some candid pics of herself posing in the dress, sans button-down, on a NYC rooftop on her Instagram. The shots also highlighted her messy half-up hairdo, which was lifted by the breeze.

The Dawson's Creek actor had a busy Fashion Week this year. She also attended fashion icon Iris Apfel’s 100^th birthday party, where she sported a tan sweater embellished with gold jewelry on the cuffs, black trousers featuring a cummerbund-like waistband, and black pointed-toe pumps. She accessorized the look with dangly gold earrings, a black leather shoulder bag, and a bright orange-red lip.

Holmes dropped by Kate Spade New York's Urban Apple Orchard installation earlier in the week. She chose a teal midi-length dress and leopard-print flats for the daytime event. She also carried a black shoulder bag and a white mask.

The Logan Lucky actor also sat front row at Christian Siriano's Spring/Summer 2022 RTW show, where she wore a fun black fitted suit with an asymmetrical silver grid pattern and black pumps.
