Katie Holmes Goes Western in Partlow’s White Leather Boots in New York

For her stroll, Holmes stepped out in a pair of Partlow’s Abigail white leather Western boot with metallic cutouts. The booties were made of patent leather, hence the footwear’s glossy appearance. The “Batman Begins” star’s footwear was very reminiscent of a western-inspired boot, thanks in part to the block heels and elongated composition.
A go-to shoe style for many, Holmes included, ankle boots make for an extremely versatile addition to any wardrobe. The footwear style offers the wearer a neutral and often walkable base, perfect for just about every occasion. The style of shoe is most often worn during the fall and winter seasons because of its heat-insulating properties.
During her city excursion, Holmes sported a tan wool jacket fitted with contrasting black buttons. The cozy outerwear was worn overtop dark gray knitwear, a plain white tee and light wash distressed denim, all closet staples. Rounding out her look, the “Miss Meadows” star toted a black leather bag and wore tinted aviator sunglasses. Adding interest to her look, Holmes wore gold jewelry. The thespian’s dark brown tresses were windswept in waves.
Holmes is best known for her classic “everywoman” style, often re-wearing beloved pieces year-round. On the footwear front, the “All We Had” director keeps her selections classic with Veja and Adidas sneakers, Gucci loafers, and Bottega Veneta mules.
Beyond her sharp off-duty shoes, Holmes’ ties to the fashion industry have also earned her an Olay brand ambassador title, as well as starring in campaigns for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Miu Miu, and Ann Taylor. Additionally, Holmes was the co-founder of the fashion line Holmes & Yang, launched with her then-stylist Jeanne Yang, from 2011 to 2014.
