Katie Holmes appears to be enjoying the holiday season, and that includes spending some quality time with her 13-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise.

In a photo posted to her Instagram Stories, Holmes posed with her teenage daughter for a cute selfie. The family resemblance was undeniable, as there are so many visible similarities between mother and daughter.

The actress documented more of the Christmas holiday on Instagram. From sharing a hilarious photo of herself wearing a Santa hat which had fallen down over her face to snapping an intricate snowman decoration, Holmes has most definitely been feeling festive.

Holmes previously revealed to Town & Country, "My child is the most important person to me, and her upbringing is paramount to my work right now. It's very important that I'm present and she has a stable, innocent childhood." She continued, "I feel so blessed to do what I do, but there's nothing in the world better than watching your child succeed."

The Dawson's Creek star was recently praised for posting unretouched photos which showed her stretch marks. Posing in a brazer and bra, Holmes revealed her midriff, and didn't Photoshop any of her images, which fans found incredibly refreshing. She captioned the pics, "it is wonderful to be working today with such amazing women!"
