Katie Holmes Pairs an Ivory-White Power Suit with Hot-Pink Heels

The Dawson's Creek alum stepped out in New York City this week dressed in an ivory-white suit composed of a boxy double-breasted blazer and a pair of tapered trousers—and nothing but a black bralette underneath, in typical Katie Holmes fashion. Still, the true centerpiece of the outfit came in the form of her pointed-toe hot-pink heels, a delicious offering from The Row with an apt moniker: Bourgeois Satin Slingback Pumps. Other than matching her fuchsia lipstick to her shoes, Holmes accessorized with a gold chain and crystal necklace.

Though we usually spot the actress sporting white trainers, Holmes is no stranger to eye-grabbing, statement-making footwear. Recall the knee-high zebra haircalf boots by Khaite she wore to the 2019 FilmAid Power of Film Benefit, which she expertly styled with a slinky silver satin dress by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini.

Around that same time, Holmes spoke to ELLE about working with a team to curate her inimitable style.

"I also work with a stylist, so that helps because I don't know everything that's out there," she told the magazine. "I depend on other people to help me, and to collaborate with, and to bounce ideas off of, things like that. I feel very fortunate to be able to be in a creative profession, and part of the joy of that is dressing, and enjoying the opportunity to wear new designers. I have fun with it."
