Katie Holmes Makes Sustainable Sneakers Look Super Chic
Since September, Katie Holmes has been serving up the best of fall fashion. The stylish actress has worn great—and affordable!—blazers and lust-worthy designer jeans, and she’s even put seasonal spins on more summery pieces, like a slinky slip dress.
Yesterday, Holmes continued her fresh styling streak on the streets of New York City. This time, it was all about her sleek sneakers. Holmes chose white low-tops by Veja, a French brand that produces sneakers using organic materials and fair-trade practices. (They also have a large assortment of sustainable vegan leather styles, too.) The actress’s pair retails for $150; similar colorways are available here.
As for the rest of her look, Holmes sported several pieces from Wardrobe.NYC, including a denim button-up shirt, straight-leg jeans, and a chic wool overcoat. A structured brown cross-body bag by Little Liffner, with a gold chain strap, lent further polish to the outfit. But it was the star's minimal kicks—packed with an ethical, eco-friendly message—that were the standout.
