Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx made their Met Gala debut as a couple in 2019.
Rumors about the couple have been circulating since August 2013 when they were spotted dancing together at a party in the Hamptons. People reported that "the actress even tried a sip of Foxx’s cocktail."
A regular attendee of the fashion event, Holmes told Entertainment Tonight in 2017 that she's saving some of her previous Met Gala gowns for her daughter, Suri Cruise.

Stepping out at the 2019 Met Gala, Holmes and Foxx looked completely adorable as they posed together for photos. Holmes attends the iconic fashion event almost every year, but this is the first time she's attended with rumored boyfriend Foxx as her date.
The discreet couple even coordinated their looks, which will make your heart explode. While Holmes wore a purple Zac Posen gown with 3D-printed elements, Foxx wore a tuxedo with purple shoes. Because if you can't coordinate your looks on the Met Gala red carpet, where can you?
Zac Posen told The Hollywood Reporter that Holmes's gown was "a real glamour piece in a Prince purple metallic." The designer continued, "I’m so close with Katie, so it's truly been a labor of love, combining the accent of this technology and thinking about her personality and her skin tone." The publication also noted that the Dawson's Creek star's gown featured "a 3D-printed palm-leaf sculpture that rests on the actress’s shoulders."
Foxx and Holmes even posed for a photo with Cardi B, which is basically the 2019 equivalent of going Facebook official:
According to People, Holmes and Foxx first sparked dating rumors way back in August 2013 when they hit up a party in East Hampton, New York. The stars have kept a relatively low-profile ever since, but did attend Clive Davis's Pre-Grammys Gala together in January 2018.
