From the beach to the red carpet, Katie Holmes' latest look is giving the ultimate summertime vibes.

The 44-year-old Dawson's Creek actress jetted off to France for the 76th annual Cannes Film Festival, where she was photographed on the red carpet ahead of the KERING Women In Motion Talk at the Majestic Hotel.

Her beachy red carpet attire consisted of flowy white pants that she paired with a lime green t-shirt and a light yellow blazer that had the sleeves rolled up. Holmes accessorized the "coastal" look with charcoal gray heels that featured mini bows on the top of the shoe.

As for her glam, Holmes wore her brown locks parted off to the side in light waves. She rocked a subtle makeup look that included a rosy cheek color and mauve lipgloss.

For the snaps, she posed with her hands in her pockets as she smiled for the camera.

On Thurs., May 18, Holmes announced that she would be taking part in a mentoring program aimed to help emerging Saudi Arabian female Filmmakers.

"I'm very excited because I'm going to have the opportunity to work with some women in Saudi Arabia and help them craft different projects and see them into fruition, and hopefully get them into a festival," she explained of the program while speaking at the Women In Motion event. "I'm excited to hear their stories, what they wanna express and make a film about."

"It's exciting for me to get to know women from all over. I learn so much. Particularly with these women, I think it's very exciting that there's more opportunities for them, and to be a part of an opening, if you will, of their ability to create and to help to get there expressions out into the world on an international level. I think it will be very rewarding and I'm very excited," she said, explaining why the program is important to her.

The program is the second part of the AlUla Creates initiative set up to nourish future generations of Saudi Arabian talent in the areas of film, the arts, and fashion.
