Have you heard? Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are no longer dating, and she's moved on with a new man named Emilio Vitolo (who also happens to be a chef at a swanky restaurant in NYC). TBH, Katie and Emilio seem pretty darn smitten if those recent pictures of them on a cuddling up to one another are any indicator. But now reports claim Emilio had a whole ass engagement with another girl and apparently broke things off with his fiancée without telling her about Katie!

According to The Daily Mail, Emilio was engaged to designer Rachel Emmons for a whopping 18 months and allegedly broke up with her—OVER TEXT—two days before the cozy pics of him and Katie hit the web.

“Up to this press coming out, Rachel had no idea what was going on,” a friend of Rachel's told the outlet. “He is a cheater, and this isn’t a ‘happy ending’ story. They had concrete wedding plans in the works…now she is just left with bad press and forced to move home.”

Another alleged friend of Rachel's spoke to The Sun and said Rachel finds the entire ordeal “bizarre and disappointing.” The source said, “she thinks it’s disrespectful for it to be so public,” and added that “Rachel feels Emilio could have been more honest and dealt with it like a gentleman and face-to-face.”

In case you're wondering if Katie knew Emilio was allegedly engaged to Rachel when they began dating, there's no clear answer on that...at least not yet. “Nobody really knows if Katie was aware he was with Rachel. If she did, it’s a bad example to set for her daughter [Suri],” The Sun's source added.
