Kathy Griffin is on the mend following vocal surgery.

The comedian has been keeping fans updated on her health journey after going into remission from lung cancer, with the latest step in her recovery being getting surgery to help with vocal cord issues caused by the disease.

In a TikTok uploaded on June 7, she showed the pre and post-surgery process, starting with the day before her operation. As shown in the video, Griffin's left vocal cord was paralyzed, making it difficult to speak.

Griffin then filmed herself hours after surgery, speaking from the hospital bed. "Hi, you guys. I just had surgery on my left vocal cord because I want to be in good shape for my big Vegas show on June 17th and this is just part of my recovery post-lung cancer surgery. I'm cancer free. So anyway, I'm a little scratchy today but I'll be in good shape," she said.

She ended her TikTok with a selfie with her doctor, and they were both all smiles after the successful surgery. Text that read "Thank you" appeared at the bottom of the image onscreen.
