Kathy Griffin, Comedian

Kathy Griffin is a comedian and actor famous for her Emmy award-winning reality show, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List. Now very much A-List, Griffin has performed many successful stand-up specials for Bravo and has produced several comedy albums. Her first comedy album, For Your Consideration, made Griffin the first female comedian to debut at #1 on the Billboard Top Comedy Albums chart. Since that 2008 release, every one of Griffin’s albums has been nominated for a Grammy, culminating in a 2013 win for Calm Down Gurrl. Griffin briefly hosted a weekly one-hour talk show on Bravo called Kathy before heading on a stand-up world tour called “Laugh Your Head Off.”

In addition to her comedy work, Griffin has been an award-show host, a voice actor in animated series such as The Simpsons, and a frequent talk show guest. In 2009, Griffin’s autobiography "Official Book Club Selection: A Memoir According to Kathy Griffin," topped the New York Times Bestsellers list.
