Katherine Schwarzenegger Shared the First Pic of Her Baby Girl and Revealed Her Name

It's official! Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt just welcomed their first child together! News broke after her brother Patrick Schwarzenegger told Entertainment Tonight, and it's safe to say everyone is excited about the new addition to their family.

Shortly after it became apparent that Katherine welcomed a baby girl sometime last week, she shared the first picture of her and Chris' daughter on Instagram. Along with the adorable photo, Katherine revealed they named her Lyla Maria. (Her middle name is definitely a nod to Katherine's mom, Maria Shriver.) Katherine wrote, "We are beyond thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt. We couldn’t be happier and we feel extremely blessed! Love, Katherine and Chris." And when Chris posted the same photo, he added, "Both mom and baby are doing great."

So cute!

Chris and Katherine got married back in June 2019, and they've been talking about wanting "lots of kids" for a while now. (Chris shares a son, Jack, with his ex-wife Anna Faris.) During a previous interview with Entertainment Tonight, he said his ideal life would include way more kids and "less time spent working, more time spent enjoying life.” So it's safe to assume that this baby is just the beginning of their huge family.

Right now, Chris and Katherine have to live within five miles of Anna because of Chris and Anna's divorce settlement. While that sounds a little awkward, it's really just so Jack can have a steady childhood and not have to travel crazy distances to see either side of his family. And since they all live super close to each other and because Jack and Lyla are half siblings, they'll probably get to hang out quite a bit.
