Kate Winslet and her daughter Mia look like doppelgängers in matching beauty looks

Mother's Day in the US may have just gone [14 May, 2023], but today we're celebrating Kate Winslet and her daughter, Mia Threapleton, for not only their adorable bond but their uncanny resemblance, too. Prepare for a double (or perhaps triple) take...

Stepping out at last night's 2023 BAFTA Television Awards, Kate, 47 and Mia, 22, took to the red carpet wearing matching black 'fits and twinning hairstyles. Celebrity hairstylist, Nicola Clarke took on the task of glamming the pair's tresses, opting for a chic twisted updo. And with bouffant side parts, no less.

Did someone say the Y2K quiff is making a comeback? Lauren Conrad would be proud.

For an effortless finish, Nicola added a soft curl into Kate and Mia's locks before pulling strands back and up into twisted buns. Ce la vie chic.

"Like mother like daughter 💗 Kate and Mia at todays @bafta awards in very sunny London 🌞🌞", Lisa Eldridge, the pair's makeup artist wrote on Instagram. While they both wear a nude lip look, Mia went for a dramatic smokey eye and liner with Kate paring back with a natural flush of colour on her lids.

Though, hair aside, can we also just take a mo' to appreciate Kate and Mia's heartwarming relationship?

When accepting her 'Leading Actress' award, Kate said: "If I could cut this in half, I would give the other half to my daughter, Mia Threapleton. We did this together, kiddo." Watch the full acceptance speech below:
