Kate Upton Welcomes a Baby Girl, and Her Name Is So Precious

Some happy news this weekend-Kate Upon has given birth to her first baby with husband Justin Verlander.

The model and actress announced the news on Instagram by sharing a gorgeous photo of her new baby daughter, and revealing her beautiful name, Genevieve Upton Verlander. As Upton's Instagram post reveals, baby Genevieve was born on November 7, 2018, and judging by the first sweet photo of her, mom and dad are completely smitten already:

Upton announced her pregnancy back in July, sharing a photo of herself wearing a chic red suit, along with the caption "#PregnantinMiami@justinverlander 🌞❤️"-tagging her husband Verlander in the post just to be sure:

Husband Verlander shared the same Instagram photo announcing Upton's pregnancy, along with the most adorable message about his wife. Verlander said:

Upton married baseball player Verlander a year ago, in November 2017. Their wedding took place at Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco, a luxury hotel in Tuscany, Italy. Upton wore two flawless gowns for the occasion- a fairytale dress by Valentino for the ceremony, and a sheer gown that Upton co-designed with Christy Rilling Studio for the evening wedding party, which the model called her "late night look."
